Sunday was chill day in the Wainwright house hold so as we had no plans for the day Amanda offered to make eton mess for dessert, not knowing there was no electric whisk to beat the eggs with. This resulted in us both taking it in turns to whisk the eggs for about an hour until they finally formed a stiff peak.
Travis went to the beach and to our joy brought back two crayfish his friend had caught and cooked for us for our dinner! Once we had eaten we decided to watch 'Black Sheep' to scare Amanda before the next day's activitiy - catching the lambs!
So we got up early, well 10am, to go sheep rustling with the guysand their neighbours, Dave and Hazel, as we needed to seperate the two lambs from their mother so they could be injected. At first the trio ran exactly where we needed them to go until they got to the gate and decided we had not worked hard enough to round them up and bolted away. After a few more runs round the paddock, and that was us not the sheep, we managed to get them seperated. Travis and I then had the task of chasing the mother round a wood as we coaxed her into a seperate pen while the others injected the lambs and carried them to the other side of the paddock to be in a seperate pen. Unfortunately only a few hours later we noticed the lambs had managed to escape and were once again reunited with their mum so Travis, Amanda, Jo and I once again had to try and seperate them which involved Travis and I running around and trying to grab the lambs while Jo and Amanda watched!
Amanda and I also found time for a game of basket/net ball and she managed to slam dunk into the net...via a ladder of course!
