Hello Everyone!

Its been nearly an entire month since we have written anything (sorry about that) so i thought I would do a quick blog.

Well...... we havent been up to much really! sadly myself and P-J dont live quite as exciting lives as you all may think.

The biggest news this month was P-J getting a well deserved trades assistant job at a local construction company Gemco. Its so far a temp job for a few months but you never know!

I have been chilling out on my own in the house and have become quite the baker! the guys here are enjoying it as they get freshly made cakes and bread most days. I have also been looking for jobs too and keeping up my new found love of cycling.

A few days before P-J was due to start work we went to the local outdoor water park, splash planet and the outdoor spa, Oceans Spa. Both were a lot of fn despite the water parks freezing water!

Last week was P-J's first week and work so naturally wanted to have a long sleep on Saturday morning. Sadly this didnt happen when we woke u at 7am to the room shaking! yep you guessed it, a earthquake!

It was a bit of an odd feeling as I was woken up by the room shaking and was not sure if I was still dreaming. The bed was shaking, the walls were moving and it lasted a good few mins, stopped and started again for 30 odd seconds.

Very odd! we looked it up later that morning to find it was a 5.8 strength earthquake is pretty strong and which orginated near Taupo, and was felt as far as Christchurch! Everyone was okay and the only thing P-J was bothered about was being woken up so early! : )

Anyway, I am off to pick up Mr P-J from work so I will say bye bye for now and will blog our x mas photos on the beach! hahaha!
