I'm still doing well at school, my host family is very nice and I think my english has improved a lot yet; so I'm happy to be here!
But unfortunately, there was a terrible storm last weekend: a cyclone. It started on saturday morning and lasted until sunday afternoon. The cyclone was really horrible: it was raining and the storm reached up to 100kmh(some trees of our garden fell on the property of our neighbour; one nearly hit his car!), so we stucked in the house. I didn't really do anything, I just played Playstation or with my laptop all the time and on Sunday I helped to get the tree away from the neighbour's property. It was boring, but at least I know now what a cyclone is like.(I tried to take a picture of it but you can't really see how bad it was)
The other bad thing is that my eyes are infected. I went to the doctor today because my eyes were red and hurt and she told me that I have to wear my glasses instead of my contacts for the next few days and I have to put a salve into my eyes... By the way, a doctor in New Zealand is so expensive! It cost 60$! But fortunately I have an insurance, so I'll get the money back.
