I'm always busy now, because I've school all day (from 8:45 to 3:15), I play tennis and at the weekend I do something with my family or my friends(I already have friends :D). I'm doing well at school, I get to know new people every day, so I'm not lonely and I don't have to learn to much. I'll try to write a blog entry every week from now on and when I do a trip to an interesting place I'll show you some photos. This week I played tennis, was at school, went to a swimming pool and went to beach(you already know it), and that's not really special, so I won't upload photos today.
However,on Tuesday, my host brother Joel returned from his exchange to Canada. He stayed there for 6 months and had a nice time, although his host family didn't really care for him; they just wanted his money. My host mother told me that some families in New Zealand are like that as well, so I'm lucky to have such a nice host family. I promised you to describe them after Joel comes back, so I do it now:
Steve, my host father, sells insurances and has his office at home, so he's at home all day. He is very funny and nice, so I like him very much. At the weekend he makes the breakfast (you can see it on the picture) and likes to do crazy things like catching eels and having sheep in the middle of a town...
Natasha, my host mother, is a hospitality teacher (in hospitality you learn how to cook), so she cooks very well(I've already gained weight :)). She cares about everything, so she wants everythng to be organized and everyone to be alright. That's good, but seems to be stressed sometimes and I think she doesn't have to care that much.
Joel, my older host brother, is 15 and attends Aquinas College(I attend Otumoetai College, so we're not at the same school). He's just returned from his exchange to Canada, so I don't know him that well, but I think he's quite a nice person. I think he knows really well how it is to be in a foreign country, so I get along very well with him.
Ryan, my younger host brother, is 13 and atends Aquinas College as well(It's a private catholic school...). He's in the midst of puberty, so he's a bit hyperactive and annoys his parents sometimes, but I get along well with him(Maybe because I have a brother at the same age at home...) and we always have lots of fun.
Eden, my host sister, is 6 and is probably the funniest person of this family. She loves to dress her dog, Miley, and to carry the poor animal everywhere. Eden is always very busy and keeps me busy as well, because she always wants showme something or to play something with 'the student'(she can't remember my name). Sometimes she runs through the house singing and dancing and it's so funny to watch her :D. But sometimes she's annoying as well, because she cries very often - she's a drama queen
I'm happy with my family, because it never gets boring and they care really well about me.

e.m. That sounds really great. i think you fell so well with your host family, because they aren't so different from yours-a funny father, a busy mother and a lazy brother and a nice pet......
Liebe Grüße an deine Family!
Alles Liebe!
