Day 69: 10/3/13
Happy Mothers Day Mam!
This morning we all slept in a big which was great. We headed into the city then to tht festival again. We watched the bird man competition for a while. People were dressed as birds and jumping off a platform into the river to try and jump as far as possible. It was funny but not impressive as they weren't jumping far!
Then we watched a women's slalom event on the water, where they were skiing around various bollards in the river. It was pretty cool.
We watched a bmx competition aswell and the tricks they were able to do were class... 360 flips and spins and everything!! We wandered around a big between the events aswell but it was roasting today so we were trying to be in the shade as much as possible!
We came home then and Jamie cooked some steak on the barbecue. We had the dinner eaten in time for master chef- very important!! We sat around taking and watching tv for a while.
I looked up accommodation places again and emailed everyone so have to just wait and see will they answer!
I was talking to Mam, Dad and Shell on Skype then and got the run down on Clionas party. Sounds like they had a good night. More singing.
