Well we started our day early still with no gps to San Francisco. We had googled instructions so felt confident we would be ok.....we were a bit wrong there as Paul took a wrong turn off which had me going off at him then he decided to drive down the wrong side of the road. The argument started. We eventually cooled off and made it to San Francisco. Now we decided we would find our hotel and park the car and rely on public transport. Finding the hotel proved to be a challenge as there are not many street lights here so it was a bit crazy trying to drive on narrow steep streets. We actually made it in one piece. Hotel staff were nice and helped with transport information. Hotel is what I would call average. We decided we would head to the bus stop and make our way to AT&T stadium as I had booked tickets to watch the San Francisco giants play the LA dodgers. Wow these people love baseball. The game was a lot of fun and I tried my first American hotdog....verdict...not too bad. We also tried nachos that were a bit yuck. At lunch time I had ordered garlic fries, but they were fries with fresh grated garlic smothered on top, they did not get eaten. We left the park a bit early to try and get a bus back. So did a million other people do we were packed in fairly tight. It is certainly different to LA here. The temperature is a lot better and I actually got really cold at the baseball but it is not the kind of place to walk around after dark that's for sure. Lesson learned today.....need a gps and a security guard to walk around at night.
