Today we started early as we were booked in for a day in LA tour. The rastabus picked us up at the hotel which was a reggae themed tour bus. Our tour guide Brian was what seemed to be a hippy stoner but turned out to be extremely funny and had a wealth of knowledge. Our tour started in Malibu
a lot of expensive beach houses and awesome beach we saw where mel gibson was arrested, lindsay lohan had a car accident and where brittney spears drinks .We then headed to see the stars homes some were bill Cosby, whooping Goldberg,Steven spielberg, brad and angelina, Arnold Schwarzenegger and many more. We then went to Beverly hills and rodeo drive. I felt poor and definitely out of place....too scared to walk into shops as I clearly couldn't afford to shop there. Paul and the boys checked out a 2.8 million car while I window shopped. We then headed to the farmers market for lunch. So many choices but I settled on blue crab cakes and coleslaw and lemonade. Delish. We then headed to Griffith park which is what I had been waiting for .... To overlook LA and to see the Hollywood sign. Amazing.... It took my breath away. We then headed downtown to see the walk of fame and theatre. There were millions of people and heaps of peddlers. So many impersonators and a lot were not great. We will head back before we leave when we have more time. We were then dropped back to the hotel so we could get ready to go to the beach to cool down from the heat. Our night ended with a seafood dinner on the pier and an early night ready to do it all again tomorrow. Lesson learnt today....I am getting a bit addicted to American lemonade and coleslaw and hobbos smell a bit in the summer weather.
