We started the day a little later as the alarm didn't go off but still had time to go for breakfast before we left the hotel. Clearly everyone else decided to go that time as it was really busy but we downed some eggs, sausage pattie and juice which turned out to be the closest thing to drinking syrup I have had. After a bit of research online I found a theme park ticketing agent that was a 10 minute walk to the hotel. The short walk saved us $260 and we were then off to Disneyland. Wow....it was impressive. Only problem was that today it was a squillion degrees, even the locals were complaining. So the water we took didn't last long and we ended up spending heaps buying drinks all day. The rides were fantastic and so much to see. The kids started wilting a bit in the heat, more so Mitch so that was a pleasant experience all day. In new Orleans town we went on the paddle boat road and we were given the captains room at the top where the wheel was so that was a bit special and the kids got a license for driving the boat. Aussie accent comes in handy at times. Paul and Jacob went off not do some rides and I was given the pleasure of putting up with a moaning Mitch. Things looked up when Mitch and I were able to experience the Disney parade. Was a great way to end the day. Things learnt today.....if you are fat or lazy you can use a nanna electronic scooter at Disneyland....gotta be seen to be believed and americans will stuff their faces with hot greasy burgers and chips when it is a scorching hot day and they are sweating bucketloads.
