This morning we woke to rain and it was overcast....I did a happy dance as we were going to Disneyland adventure park and even though it was still hot being overcast made it so much better. The rain is caused by the cyclones offshore. Adventure land is amazing and the kids seemed to enjoy it more today as was more themed around things they know. We all went on a lot of rides including the new cars rode, well worth the 65 minute wait and soaring California. There were a lot of parades and events and we were constantly entertained. The exhaustion is well and truly setting in today and we all look a bit wilted and getting used to sweating from head to toe. I decided to go without lunch and wait for salad for tea as there were still no good options for park food. Tho all the lazy people using motorised scooters seemed to like the food. Now I have determined they are lazy and not disabled because as soon as it is there turn to get on a ride they leap out of their scooters rather quickly. Jacob and Paul stayed on for the light show which they said was the greatest thing they had seen in their life. Lesson learned today....all food here has corn syrup. Our Aussie stomachs is not used to it and handling it well.....clearly we need to live on fresh air.
