There is an old saying: "Daughters know best." Or maybe I'm confusing it with something else.
I have done some traveling over the years, but both of my children have been to far more places than I have, especially Cassandra in the last few years where she has had to do extensive travel for work.
Although, I believe I have her tied in Continents. I'll have to get to Asia before she gets to Australia. Maybe I can get Sarah Palin to lend me a boat for an afternoon. Can't be very far if she can see it from the house.
Anyway, before I left I was dilly-dallying about packing. Why procrastinate today when you can do it tomorrow. So she made me a list of essential things I needed to pick up and then bugged me until I did it.
Now there were a few items on the list that I would have got anyway, a few that I got but hope to never use, and a couple that I was sure I'd never use but I got them anyway because it's easier than arguing.
In that third list was Halls Throat Lozenges and Halls Vitamin C. Didn't think I'd need them or use them.
When I checked into the hotel in Sao Paulo I noticed the pillows were down which I am allergic to so I got a foam one. But on the last evening I accidentally used one of the down ones and woke up with a sore throat and spend most of the day sneezing and blowing my nose.
I feel much better today but I was grateful to have those things along. But don't tell Cass. I can't swallow my pride with this lozenge in my mouth.

C It is about time I get some recognition! And I'm happy to know you actually listened to me. I wasn't positive all my nagging paid off but I'm glad it did. And I'm even happier that you ended up using them. Hope you are feeling better.
