Yesterday was a rest day. We went to Bamaga to have a look and stopped in at the local shopping centre which consisted of a: supermarket, chemist/newsagency, bamaga dreamtime (surf shop cross variety store). Josh did some minor work on the car. We went to the Seisia markets - small (though the town has a population of 165) and selling jewellery, food and hand-made bags.
Today we made it to the most northern part of Australia.
On the way we stopped at the Croc Shop which is the local infomation centre and gift shop. Interesting little shop - made of canvas.
Beautiful area so it was a shame it was overcast. We walked along the beach and over some rocks to the point. Lots of people so we waited for our pic. We then walked up and over the rocks - more beautiful scenery (on a good day you can see some of the torres strait islands).
We then went to Pusand Bay via a 4WD track - pretty little area.
Back to camp. The weather has been around 29/30 degrees so after more corregations and climbing up rocks we spent the afternoon relaxing around camp.
Last day at Seisia tomorrow.
