Today we completed the northern section of the OTL. It was interesting. We left the trailors back at camp.
The track was a little more eroded, rutty and corrogated in places.
We had alot of river crossings: scrubby, canal (rocky), sam, mistake, cannibal (steep and eroded), lagoon (swampy and long) and the infamous Nolan Brook - which so far this year has claimed 35 cars. Nolan Brook has water just above waist deep and soft sand making it hard to cross.
Adam made it across Nolans Brook on his first attempt and assisted the other 3 to succesfully make it across the creek.
We then took the development road back to camp.
Was a long, hard and very challenging day however all 4 cars have now completed the OTL.
Tomorrow we head to the Jardine Ferry and cross the croc filled Jardine River to Seisia where we have 4 rest days and will finally have a picture at the northern tip of australia.
