From Panaji we took the bus up North to a place called Arambol which is a little town that wraps around the beach and the sea. It is really cool here, just how we imagined Goa to be. We stayed the first night in a beach hut that opened out onto the beach, however on our way back from another beach at night the tide had come right in meaning we had to clamber over rocks to get home. Needless to say we moved the second night to the Om Ganesh lodges which are off the coastal path and much easier to get to.
We've spent most of our days lounging ont he sun loungers and swimming in the sea with evening taken up sampling all the different bars and restaurants that set up tables right on the beach. Everyone is much friendlier down here too with all the bar staff and waiters wanting to chat and learn your name (mainly so you come back again but it makes a massive difference to where we've been previously). One of the days while we were sat chilling on a sun bed we got chatting to a guy who told us there was going to be a rave at Cock's Town bar that evening. We made our way down a bit early and so sat on a couch on the beach having a cocktail before hitting the party for some beach raving to Techno music with 3 french DJs...
Another day we hired a moped and drove round all the other beaches to see what was going on. We came to the conclusion that we made the best choice staying at Arambol as the other beachesw are a bit too quiet and remote for our liking.
Today we were supposed to move to Anjuna beach but we weren't feeling up for it after yesterday. We both got quite sick and spent the day in the room. I suppose it was going to happen at some point and we have recovered enough today to make it down to the beach for another chill session and are going to venture on to Anjuna in the morning...

Bren All up to date :) Northern India certainly seems to go at a quicker pace than lounging on the beaches at Goa, sounds lovely! Will be having a good long look through the pictures very soon. x
Brian Hi Heather and Jimmy, just read all your blogs in the past hour, and i now feel worn out. I bet you needed Goa to re charge as well, it all sounds brilliant, kingfishers rule , xx Brian
