Critters broke into our camp last night looking for munchies and leaving tiny paw prints!
Trekked to Bells Gorge which was a gorgeous cascading waterfall surrounded by thick chunky rock. Had a swim and a relax before we headed off to Tunnel Creek.
Tunnel Creek is a 750 meter cave filled with water.
Wading through a pitch black cave and waist high water was extremely eerie (ok I was actually petrified!) with bats overhead and the occasional waterfall, it was the longest 750 meters of my life.
But it was worth it, at the end of the tunnel it was very spectacular, an idyllic stream surrounded by white ghost gums, chunky river rocks, tiny finches and very quite.
Tonight we are camping surrounded by people (the old screechy annoying type) and we have a huge fire with crispy lamb chops and BBQ corn for dinner!
Highlight today: watching and laughing at the video of our tunnel trek, very eerie and dramatic!
