What's that? World champions- damn right they are! The RWC 2011 has been an amazing experience. I'm so happy that I was here amongst it. The atmosphere has been awesome, NZ definitely embraced the tournament! What a lifetime experience this has been so far. I'm ready to meet Nonu now please? Come on RWC England 2015!
It's been a while since I blogged, my bad. I've just been hanging with the beautiful Peterson family through the 2 week break mostly. I've been up to a few things, had a couple of Sunday roasts NZ style- oh how I miss mama's Yorkshire puddings and parsnip chips! Yummy! Had a Heroes season 1 marathon with KP and Bailey! Wazz up! Haha! Been into Wellington city a couple of times, once for a rollerblading session on the pier, secondly for Kendall's swimming competition and to watch his mad ice skating skills! It's been all good- had a few rough days you know as expected. Surrounded myself with good company got me through it. I'm sad to say I'm now leaving one of the best/beautiful/incredible families I've ever meet, but on the other hand I get to see an old friend, Jodie Tucker, which I'm totally psyched about! It's been a good 7 years. So I'm heading to Christchurch to stay with her for a little and look for work. No plans on if I stay or move on, I'm living most days not knowing what is to come. If you know me well you'll know I love making plans and sticking to them. But right now I'm a whole new person, finding myself still, learning a new way of living and loving and finding my place in the world. What I've always wanted in life has changed- I'm surprising myself!
I'm excited to see what tomorrow will bring me.
I'd just like to thank Trin and Vaea Peterson for taking me in like one of their own. I appreciate everything you have done for me. I love you and your family very much - and I wouldn't be surprised if I'm back in a week. I feel like I'm at home when I'm with you and your family. Thank you.
