Jason did not sleep well last night because he had to sleep with his head lower than his feet, he woke up with a splitting headache and blood all over his pajama's from a nosebleed. Poor guy scared the crap out of me at 1 am when while getting out of bed, he hit his tray sending a glass crashing and breaking on the floor. I literally jumped up from my bed ready to take on who ever or what every the hell woke me up!! We cleaned up the mess as best we could and returned to bed. At 6:40 there was a quick knock, the lights were switched on and two staff members opened the door prepared to make our beds. Jason barked at them that it was too early and they should knock before barging in and turning on the lights. I told them "too early", they left and came back a while later by knocking and then peaking in asking if it was okay to come in, lol.
The laundry guy was suppose to have the laundry back by 10:00 am and I basically stayed in the room until 4:00 pm waiting for him. All the laundry was cleaned and pressed and only cost 445 rupees. Jason slept a good portion of the day trying to rid himself of the stem cell headache and I watched a movie.
We had a visitor from the local colledge inquiring what us Canadians like to eat and he understood we were not happy with the food. Jason and I haven't been complaining but have left somethings untouched if it didn't appeal to us. The Saskatchewan couple have made their distaste of the food known to the staff and have requested more fish and potatoes. So for lunch today we got fish in this brown sauce that made me just about gag. I told them that we like fresh food, salads and roasted chicken not boiled and sawed chicken. This man was very nice, making all kinds of suggestions including adding steamed fish, lamb and even beef. On Monday he will send a sample lunch and requested that after the meal we call him to report if it was satisfactory. We told him what we did like, the fried rice, the pasta and the french toast. We told them that in Canada we have maple syrup for our french toast not the vinegar ketchup type sauce they provided with this french toast. Swapnil told us he could get us syrup, it may not be the deep amber color of the Canadian syrup but it would be good. We will see...
While still talking with Swapnil Jason was leaning on the end of his bed and I decided to sit beside him. As I put my mighty weight on the bed the whole thing tipped toward us and came completely crashing down on it's side. This caused the whole safety team as Jason calls them to come running into the room all of them wide eyed and heads shaking. It took about six of them to right the bed back into position. I noticed a bolt had fallen out and a mechanic was called to repair the bed. Very funny!
The above picture was taken from Julie and Dustin's room and the city scape is full of water towers and of course smog which is really bad in the mornings. Below we saw little green birds flying around and the Momma told us they were parrots. The staff call each other either Sister, Brother or Momma depending on their age I guess.
Surjio hasn't called or shown up yet to take us on an outing so I guess we don't get to go anywhere today. It's already 5:00pm and the most I can hope for is a walk with my boy. Tomorrow is another day and today was a good rest day for Jason.

Collette Gagne I took my boy out for a walk to the market and we bought pear apples for a treat. An Indian lady asked us what the fruit tasted like, and together we described them as juicy, crunchy, sweet pear like fruit. We crossed the street and back and bought a pound of coffee! Jason enjoyed his walk but climbing the ten flights of stairs was a bit tough for him. Jason made my day by telling the college guy that I was the best cook in the whole world:).
