We had such a busy day yesterday we decided today would be a good day for downtime and relaxation before we begin to head East towards home. As of today we have been two weeks on the road and Vegas is the Western most point we will visit. It does not mean we are done sightseeing, its just now the sites are East of us. I really could do this all the time, I feel no urgency to get home, other than I miss my kids.
It's time for laundry again and the pool in this campground is conveniently located right next to the laundry room - perfect! This will allow me to wash everything while I sit or swim at the pool while the laundry gets done. After the hike at Zion my back was acting up a little and using the pool for exercise the past two days has really helped getting back to my normal - I could really do this every day! Retirement or working on the road cannot come soon enough!
Our cousins - Ruben, Lissette, Austin and Adam came by to say goodbye before they headed back to California. It was so nice to see them and spend the day with them yesterday.
The nice thing about the place we are staying is we can do fun relaxing things right here, without heading out to the more crowded areas. After lunch we enjoyed a movie, went bowling and ended the day with Mexican dinner and the laser light show - all at Sam's Town.
We headed to bed early since tomorrow will be a long day of driving while our parents decided to try their luck at the casino one more time.
If we ever return to Vegas in the RV, I would definitely stay here.
