Hi everyone,

The week after National week has been very busy here, as we were teaching last Saturday and Sunday as well as our normal teaching schedule so we've had a 7 day week this week! The weather here continues to be a bit temperamental; on thursday this week it was grey and rainy, and quite cool all day whereas on friday and today, it's sunny, not a cloud in the sky although thankfully not as hot !

I do have a couple of photos to add from campus - they had blood donations going on this week which took place on a coach it seemed! So that was quite interesting to see - my internet connection has been sporadic to say the least this week; it's basically been crap, something to bear in mind if you're thinking of coming to China - getting and maintaining Internet acccess can be a bit of a mission! I'm realising this fully now so if you are coming to China for any long period of time, make sure you have a decent vpn sorted (software that allows you to go on blocked websites over here e.g facebook). Aha this may be my only entry for some time..

I'm also hopefully going to Changsha for the day tomorrow to do some shopping (they have a Wal-Mart there :) ) Changsha is just over the border in the south of Hunan province, & is a bigger city than Pingxiang so it will be interesting to see more of it. Hopefully be some photos from there as well so please all pray to the Internet gods for me that my connection gets sorted soon!
