Another boiling day today, so annoying how a few days ago it was a nice, moderate temperature, quite cool after a few days of rain, and now its full-on Sweatsville again! I hope, after living in this climate for a while, my body will learn to sweat less so I'll be able to handle the heat better when I'm holiday etc!

The picture (bit blurry I know) is another from Beijing, when I was invited to a Beijing Duck restaurant by an old friend and business colleague of my uncle's. No offence to the food in the south, as I've had some lovely meals but that Beijing duck was probably the best meal I've had (so far) since I've been in China!! Very niice

I met another two of my freshman (1st year) classes today which went well - both classes were very smiley and well behaved but, also very chatty and in my last class, I had more students volunteer than I've had in any of my second year classes so far! So that was a bit of a surprise, a nice surprise though, as it was really good to see more than one student participating and I was expecting them to be much more reluctant being first years!

Hopefully starting Chinese lessons next week as well, which I'm very much looking forward to. Learning to say complete sentences, rather than the odd word and pointing is starting to feel a bit embarrassing, so these lessons can't come soon enough!
