This morning we tested the results of the TB tests we did on the buffalo on Tuesday. It went a lot more smoothly than Tuesday! And none of them have bovine TB which is good!! Never think my hands will be clean again after sticking them into buffalos mouths trying to pull their tongue out so many times!
This afternoon we went to do more mass capture, but this time on foot instead of using a helicopter and instead by moving in a line banging and shouting to herd the animals. However it did not go exactly to plan. The first time we tried was very chaotic and people didn't sick properly in the line so there was space for the animals to escape, and the second time the line worked much better but all the animals had run away and were no longer in that area. If was a good experience! Though by the end my clothes were covered on ticks! One even crawled across my cheek but amazingly I did not get bitten by any!! Eww they are nasty though! I think I will be psychologically itching for quite some time!
