Today we didn't do an awful lot. We were supposed to be darting and looking at some Suni antelope with abscesses, but it rained ALL day! And they are likely to get very ill when sedated in such damp cold weather. The weather also meant we could not dehorn any rhino. We are going to do both of those things tomorrow...well that's the plan! Plans round here are very changeable.
But we did go and check on one of the giraffes that was slightly lame. The vet thought that would be fine. Then we had to ear-tag a newborn sable.
Another lazy day! But that's okay. Two of the other students left today and two came, and I saw one of my friends from Moholoholo who was on the bus heading to the airport to go home, which was lovely. I will be coming home in exactly 2 weeks time! I am excited to be coming home soon!
I went for a walk up the mountain in the game farm we live on. There are some beautiful views. Though I nearly walked into a herd of wildebeest - whoops!
