This morning we left at 6am to go and capture more giraffe. We were supposed to do 10 today, but they had difficulty finding then and it wasn't economically a good idea to spend money using the helicopter to look for them as giraffe aren't very valuable. So we just did 4. I helped to take blood. Hopefully I will get better at that! Then this afternoon we went to dehorn some white rhino. We had to insert a catheter, take blood, take a sample of hair, skin and health, remove the dart and saw off the horn. We had to fill in a chart to monitor the rhino's breathing. I tried inserting a catheter. I wasn't very good though, it's all so hectic and we have to work so fast that there isn't much time to practice!
We went to our home this evening, I was able to buy some food which was good. I have Internet here so will be able to update this more. Need to backtrack and get it all up to date again!
