We did mass capture again today, but this time we were on the curtains. We had to wait for the second siren of the helicopter to go off before we ran with the curtains to trap in the animals.
The leader of the game capture is Africaan but with an accent that sounds slightly Russian. Imagine the phrase "run, run for your life" in that accent and you pretty much have our motto for the day. It was pretty scary at times. You would see the zebra gallop past and one time they turned round and ran back before it was time for us to close the curtain. One zebra brushed past the curtain one of the other volunteers was hiding behind! As well as zebra we also captured impala, wildebeest and kudu, though not as many as were originally hoped, but with this method you never really can guarantee what you will get. It was a lot of fun. They I rode in the big truck back home to unload the zebra.
