Got up and had breakkie today. Omg I thought I'd killed Daphney! She was outside looking for more bread so out I went giving her the other half of the slice she got yesterday, then she bloody starts choking! Uh oh! I watched her for bit then realised there was nothing I could do so went back inside! But looked out 5 mins later and she was ok! Thank god lol! Left Sandspit and went a drive along to Omaha beach then pikiri beach. Some lovely beaches and very peaceful as well! Went onto a wee place Wellsford for lunch so that was good! We then made our way back to Auckland as we have the two quarter finals at the weekend. Checked into lovely apartments, right in the centre of town and have a gym and swimming pool! Was like an apartment with a kitchen, wee living room and bedroom. The bed is massive! Think it's like a king king, I could starfish without touching Graeme! Thought we better have some luxury accommodation since we have booked another camper van for the next 2 weeks! Just a 2 man one this time, and it won't be as smelly now that the boys are away lol! It worked out just as cheap as a car and there's not much accommodation left in Auckland for the next few weekends so it'll be good for that hopefully! Well there is accommodation, it's just like £500 for one night! went to the gym and swimming pool for an hour or so which was good! Felt a bit better after doing some exercise. Then walked around Auckland and thought we'd get some veg and a healthy salad for tea. We must have walked around for about an hour trying to find a supermarket with veg or even a wee shop but there was nothing! So went ended up getting noodles and soup and making it back at the apartment!dont know if its cos we were looking on the main drag but even the three supermarkets we went in only had apples and bananas! Watched more tele and bed!
