Headed to auckland today on the bus which took us about 2 hours from hamilton. Got to apartment which was nice and just off the main street. Then took a walk to the sky tower. Chucky decided he wanted to do the sky jump so he got ready and harnessed up for that while me and Graeme went up the sky tower to see the views and as they stopped the jumpers at the viewing level we could also watch chucky! So after a bit it was 30 seconds till the next jumper, then down comes chucky with his usual cheesy grin loving it lol! He did say he was a bit scared but he looked as tho he was enjoying it. So we waited for him to come up to meet us but he was taking a wee while so we watched another few jumpers. Then 30 seconds till next jumper we looked out and down comes chucky again! He liked it so much that he went for a second shot! We were so surprised cos when we had done it a few years ago there was no way we would have went straight back up again! We were even saying we wouldn't have done it again this time lol! he eventually stopped and came back up to meet us! Saw views then down for some lunch and shopping in auckland. we were walking down and saw a massive queue outside the rugby shop, we thot it was just busy but then looked inside and the actual world cup was there! So waited in the q for that and got our pic which was awesome! Went along the front as they had set it all up for the world cup party tomoro nite. the place was mental with fans and the tonga supporters were crazy, they were all dressed up and peeping their horns it was mental! . was a massive rugby ball tent, lots of screens and a new big thing called the cloud that was going to be the base for it all. The boys both had Canterbury trackies and their garnock hoodies on and boy were they getting some attention from the ladies! We reckoned they maybe thot the boys were famous rugby players. There was a full group of girls cheering and waving at them lol! And with me carrying all the bags I looked like their bloody PA! Of course the boys were loving it lol! Spent a bit of time at harbour then back to hotel, watched some of the rugby then bed!
