We had our last day with the camper today. We've had a lot of fun with it but to be honest we're both ready to leave New Zealand now and go to Fiji tomorrow. We can't wait for the hot weather and sandy beaches again! We still have one small problem to deal with before we give the camper van back to Apollo tomorrow, the dent and scuff on the front of it. Hopefully a bit of white spray paint will be enough to cover it up.

We took our box of stuff to send home to the post office this morning, it weighed 6.86kg, costing us $133! Pretty expensive but we couldn't carry our winter clothes and Fat Sam around with us. Once we were finished at the post office we drove all the way back down to Auckland to stay at Joel and Mandy's again. We stopped at Warehouse before we left town so I could get my hair cut, the b**** in the salon tried to charge me $10 extra! I told her I was quoted only $30 the other day so why was it more now? She hesitated then said that's just for a trim along the bottom. So basically they charge extra if they have to use skills, anyone can trim a straight line! The cow was trying her luck so I told her not to bother and left.

We got into Auckland by 5:30pm. When we arrived at Joel's he realised he had forgotten to get some white spray paint so we all went out to get some. Chris got the spray paint and some sand paper while I bought some new make up for myself. Then we went for a nice curry before going back to the house.

It was really cold out this evening so I left it to the men to cover up the scuff on the van. Chris sanded and sprayed the mark twice and left it to dry over night. It looked pretty good so hopefully no one will notice it when we give the camper van back.

The guys came inside and we all had a few beers before heading to bed at 10pm, we have to be up at 5:45am!
