Wednesday 2nd March – Had a lazy day today. A little lay in and chilled for a couple of hours, then shower and a trip down the road to Karinyup and mosy round the shops. Coffee and cake in a snazzy little open cafe in the middle, a little purchase here and there of some summer clothes and then off down to Scarborough beach – somewhere we’d not seen, apart from driving through a number of times. It’s actually really very nice down there with a lovely amphitheatre style covered seating area overlooking the beach. After a short walk around there and a half an hour chill, it was back to a shopping centre to get Ade a lilo so he could lay on the pool and catch some afternoon rays. All of a sudden it was 5:30 and time to get ready for our first experience of Kulchers, the Chinese restaurant. Wow... fantastic cheap food – probably some of the tastiest dishes we’ve had at any Chinese restaurants in the last few years. We had the evening there with Aunty Judy, Uncle Barry, Denise, Rob, Dave, Rachel, Sean and Liam. Really great evening and then back home for a paddle and a night cap... one more full day left...
