Saturday 26th February – Up early and waited for Dave, Rachel and Liam to come round to start the 2 and a bit hour drive to The Pinnacles, north of Perth. Past some fantastic sights of pure white sand dunes, they look like clouds from a distance. They weren’t even close to the sea. Arrived at the Pinnacles, what a weird place??? Could be a scene from Mars, really good that they let you drive around the site on a 4km premarked drive so you can stop and take closer look and these weird unsolved structures. First bit of off roading the Great Wall has done I believe.
Didn’t take the opportunity to do the walk around, just too bloody hot!
On the return journey finally saw my first LIVE emu!
