Friday 25th February – Dave picked us up at 10am to go to Yanchep Lagoon for a swim/ snorkel and sunbath. We got stung by jellyfish whilst snorkelling, nothing bad, just like a nettle sting. Ade and Dave continued for a bit more but I chickened out. Had a bit of a sunbath for 45 mins as that was plenty of time to catch a tan at 38 degrees. Drove to the local shop for a BLT and drove to Yanchep National Park to have lunch. Lake was empty, that’s how dry it is here, unheard of. Dave had his roll snatched by a duck under the table, which then started a brawl of duck, crows another kind of duck and kookaburra’s. Came back and popped in the pool for a swim.
