The sun is out! I soaked it up this morning listening to the Mocking birds and generally relaxing. Jupiter House is the coffee shop to go. It has free wifi and power points at every table to charge all your devises as you sit and have a coffee or smoothie with names such as 'Oppenheimer', pasteur's grass, Curie's cure etc. the mocha chocolate milkshake has little grains of ground coffee through it, mmm, mmm, jean and settled in on the leather lounge and watched everyone working on their Apple computers lined up like an office. Lol
Then onto lunch! El Guapo's sounded just the ticket. We meet up with Caudia, Jean's friend. She is from Mexico so explained the menu for me. As we sat there Celia Cruz's 'Quimberra' was playing and some 'Ritmo Alegria'. It was all I could not to get up and dance, but alas, my favourite dance partner was not there. Chicken Flautas for entire and a Beef Fajita for main! Yum, but wouldn't you know it, I have my take home box ready for another dinner!
This afternoon is on of those spring days where everything is perfectly still, just perfect for closing your eyes laying on the grass in the sun.
Birds are busy, as are the squirrels. I saw a Cardinal bird in the trees, the flash of red as it flew caught my eye.
I have had the pleasure of visiting the 'Wells Fargo' bank. Yes the stage coach company. They have murals and photos in all their banks celebrating each different place as well as their own history. They also have tea and coffee to have while you are waiting. Employees at all establishment I have been into have approached me and always ask if there is anything I want, in the bank she offered to make me a coffee. They are proud to talk about their history and like to chat.
