I wanted to take this opportunity to apologize for the lack of stimulating non-work posts lately. There are only so many ways to make the wonderful world of insurance sound exciting on a daily basis and after posting on this blog for a little over two weeks, I find that I'm boring myself. So, to change things up, I'll take some time to discuss something that I'm really really stoked for in the near future: taking a cruise.
Next month, 12 or so of my closest friends from college, their significant others and I will be embarking from Cape Canaveral, FL and casting off towards Nassau, Bahamas for three days of beach, booze and buds. Kayaking, jungle hikes, and partaking in local culture are just some of the events planned.
This has been booked since March when my friends Laura and Kim sent out some probing emails. For the longest time, we have been all planning for ways to all get together and relive the glory days and more importantly just be together again since we're all spread out around the country. It was a fantastic idea to book the cruise from the get-go and everyone is real excited since it's only less than a month away. There are a couple of folks who will be unable to make it (and if you're reading this now, Brookes...eee listen to Kris!) but all and all it's an awesome turnout.
This trip is especially exciting for me because I'll have the chance to have my beautiful girlfriend Michelle and all my closest friends on a cruise shop for my birthday. The ship takes off on February 17 and is sure to be one of the best birthdays of my adult life.
