Today Gadi drove to the south west tip of the Yorke Peninsula to a remote area called Innes National Park. Obviously being a national park we can't take Cadbury there and Gadi was keen to do some walking. The park is known for its stunning cliffs and beaches, and is popular with people wanting to bush walk, camp, surf and scuba dive.
Gadi came back raving about the park saying it was his highlight of the trip to date and he was very lucky to have sunny skies, which showed off the cliffs to their best advantage.
That left me and Cadbury 'at home' for the day, and while the dog might have pined a bit, I took the opportunity to chill out (after doing some housework and making some lengthy phone calls home).
I even watched an episode of Crazy Ex Girlfriend (I have the series on my hard drive) and sat in the sun with my feet up on a stool, Cadbury on my lap, and watched the world - or at least the antics of those staying here - happen in front of me.
Gadi got back around 7.30pm and we cooked lamb strips and roasted
veggies on the weber.
Watched another episode of The Bridge together before having a hot shower and going to sleep.
Aaahhhh, life on the road...Can't beat it!
Night night xx
