Mark and I started the day by going to the Coffee Seed for our Americano coffee. We have been every day this trip & love the girl that works there. Then we left with Boots to the local tennis center to donate all the racquets that our friends in Tyler, Texas donated. The coach was so appreciative he actually cried. Next year we want to get him a stringer so they can string their own racquets. It's amazing what a difference things we normally throw away can do for someone over here. We came back and picked up everybody to go back out to the work site in Yoyo's "bus". We are really going to miss him and he's going to be depressed when we leave too. We finished the latrine by putting in the concrete cylinders and by filling it in with dirt. Then we had the ribbon-cutting ceremony to present the homeowner "Dang" with her key to the house. It was very moving as she thanked us and said she just cannot believe that strangers would come from another country to help her build her house. that was definitely the best part of the trip so far. Since it was a short day we went back to the herb center for one last Thai massage. Tonight all the local Habitat staff and some previous home recipients all got together for a farewell dinner at a local restaurant. After dinner we did some dance with bamboo poles (I cannot remember what it's called!) but it was a lot of fun. To top it off we had these huge paper lanterns that you light fire in and released them all into the night sky. It was a very beautiful sight. Tomorrow is a free day of sightseeing before heading to the elephant sanctuary on Friday! Should be amazing!
