Currently sitting on the train to Taiyuan. This is the longest train I have ever seen in the world! I used to think the Eurostar was a long train. It has nothing on this train. The train is lovely and clean and everything seems to run like clockwork however the Chinese have no idea how to queue!
The cleaner has just gone down the aisle with a mop! They wouldn't do that in UK. In fact some of our trains probably have never seen a mop!
The train is travelling at 300km/h and it hardly feels like it is hardly moving. Such a smooth ride.
There is a screen in the carriage that gives information about speed and outside temperature. It has just shown that it is 37C outside! So glad to be on the train.
This was one of the most relaxing journeys I have ever been on. Off for lunch now:)
