It was a late start again this morning, 10.40am wake up and just pottered around for a while. After we got ready & had breakfast we tried to do some washing, but we didn't realize we needed our own washing powder. That sorta made as depressed. We went across to 'Countdown' to buy a few things, (I really need shampoo and conditioner) and forgot the washing powder! We figured it's a sign for us not to do the laundry!
So we went for another walk around town and decided to go to the Auckland museum via bus. It was pretty boring.. But it filled in time & was free! Plus we are sight-seeing so it wasn't all bad.
When we got home we eventually got washing powder & did a load of washing while going to Gloria Jeans to wait for the load to finish. It finished 34 mins ago yet we are still here! Better go and put it in the dryer & make some dinner (we splurged & bought ravioli!)
Sorry about the boring blog, hopefully have a good one for you tomorrow!

Heather Hey Amy.....I just stumbled on this....not sure if it's the latest one??? But good to hear that you are safely ensconsed in NZ. Just watch out for the black-squinty-eyed old hags in cowboy hats..... Pity about the washing, but sh** happens. Which reminds me...I gotta go do a load too. We wash every night and hang it all around the room, and it dries before the cleaners come. They really do encourage us to send our laundry out, but if I had, I'd be broke by now. The costs are horrendous. Kay bought washing powder with her (don't ask???) so we haven't had to buy any yet...sucker!!!! It was May 1st here today, which they call Lei Day. So i went off to a park to help celebrate. Even made a lei, though only the size of my wrist, but it was made with frangapanis, which is my fave flower...so it was all good. Bought a plastic one for Luke....Best not take up all your time. Keep on having a good time....I've checked all your pics. Wish I was clever enough to do that.....one day (sigh). Take care
Jessica tomorrow you'll have to mention how your amazing sister called you and spent $13 talking for 2 mins! where are you tomorrow, are you finished in auckland?
