Hi all just a quick entry till we get settled in...well were do i begin...are you seated comfortably...yes...then i shall begin!!!! Our journey started at 4am thur 8th September at Humberside airport, after checking luggage in, Jane and I made our way to departure where our bags where checked. Cutting a long story short i had forgotted to put my toiletries in my suitcase so when greeted at the other en by MIiss Trunchball I was frisked within an inch of my life. Seriosly i was clenching my bum cheeks..however having a good friend like Jane who stood and laughed and was hysterical on the floor at my constant groping made me want to pucn her lights out. Once dressed and composure sorted i headed fro the bar for a stiff vodka!! We boarded our flight and had a cuppa and breathed a sigh of relief that we had finally made this day. Once in Amsterdam we made our way to gate D7...Cedric (Mr Graburn...janes dad) I hope you are listening to this>>>you told her not to speak to anyone at the airpoirt and she told me this as we were heading to the gate, in the next breath I turned round and your precious daughter was a mile away having conversations with all and sundrie....even taking photos may I add!!! So next time Mr Graburn give up on the good advice!!!!!!!! Our flight to Uganda was around 10 hours....we seated ourselves comfortably got out the minted Worthers origanals and wine gums and sat back and took in the sights. Over the tanoy an announcement was made that the plane was to land in kigali..jane and I nearly choked on our Worthers Originals...I dont think we've ever moved so bloody fast. we were reassured that the flight was making a detour and that the plane would land in Entebbe at 22.15. We eyed the alcohol trolley up to calm our nerves. The adventure starts here folks..believe you me it gets worse but We've never laughed so much in our lives. The story will continue on monday as the timer is running out and we can use the university computer all afternoo. Work for us beginns then too! We are very much missing our family but are enjoying getting to know each other and loving the experience. Love to you all bak at home and speak to you soon xxxxxxxx
