Sue Darby I think it is commendable what you are doing. Makes us all reflect and appreciate what we have in our lives and not take anything for granted.
Becky Wood Errr did i mention you owe me some Ugandan shilling! Its a mates rates monthly fee for friendship! Bum clenching in foreign countries is always a joy.......spare pair of pants is a must! They wont let you back in the country if you s*** yourself more than 5 times.....think on and stay away from lamb curries! Anyway, getting to the serious stuff! It sounds grim and witnessing such poverty first hand is a massive shock to anyones system.....especially to us Westerners, who live life so comfortably but complain about it anyway! Sounds like you are doing an amazing job so far. Keep blogging! Love Bec x
Kerry Oh my God! Tears all the way! That sounds horrendous and heartbreaking. To withstand such pain without a murmur just shows you that they know its not worth complaining. It sounds like you're doing a fantastic job girls and its hard to imagine what you're seeing, it must be dreadful. Wish I could send Billy out there for a week and maybe the £70 trainers wouldn't seem quite so appealing! Take care xx p.s I was talking to Mavis yesterday Jane she is so proud of you xx
