Thanksgiving!!! I really wish I was home but that'll come soon enough.

My iphone was back to normal!!!!

About the time I was getting up I heard a knock at our front door; Dawn answered it. it was a hand-delivered, freshly-baked pumpkin pie for me from Mom, Dad and kevin. It was such a wonderful sight/smell to wake up to. I can't believe Mom found somewhere that even makes pumpkin pies in London - it usually seems like a pumpkin-free city (at least in the culinary sense).

Work today was more of the same, although I did make some serious progress. There were some men working in our library removing asbestos. This was a very intense process. There was duct tape and plastic everywhere. It looked as if there was an outbreak of some contagious disease and the library was quarantined.

After work I went back to the flat and waited for Dawn and Ellie to leave (they're going to Dublin tonight) before starting to cook. I made mashed potatoes, biscuits, salad, chorizo (jut like the pilgrims!!) and apple cake. Of course everything came out fabulously - I just wish I could share it with someone. I did adequately stuff myself but since about 50% of it was apple cake and pumpkin pie, I didn't feel that well.

I skyped with the family for a little bit but I was very tired at this point so I wasn't that energetic. Then I did a little more research for Dublin and went to bed.
