We woke up under the towering redwoods. We were both like a kid on christmas morning jumping out of the tent. Karma is on our side because we were rewarded with another free night of camping due to the young ranger not wanting to work. We first headed to 'The Stout Grove' where the road was built around the trees. Only one car at a time could fit though some sections.

This was the only area where we were able to actually play in the redwoods. We were climbing on them, in them, hugging them, and scaling them. This is in my top five things on this adventure. One of my favorite days by far. Along side of this grove was the Smith River which is a prestine undammed body of water that flows to the coast.
