On Thursday we went to Stonehenge, it was amazing and very old. And it did not rain until we were leaving which was very unusual. You could walk all around the stones and we were given audio guides to listen to and learn all about how it was built, about the people and how it is being managed. I bought a little fluffy black sheep which I have called Betty. Darcy got a hoodie which says Stonehenge Est. 3000 BC.
After Stonehenge we went to Salisbury to see the Cathedral. I liked the Magna Carta which is one of four original 1215 documents. There was an outdoor sculpture exhibition in the garden which had giant hands, and creatures that were a mix of people and rabbits or hares. They were huge. There was also a nesting Peregrine Falcon on the spire which you could watch through a telescope.
