On our last day in Bristol our cousin Nick took us on a tour of Bristol's Street art/graffiti. Some of it was great and some just weird. Bristol has lots of steep hills and narrow alleys and there are paintings everywhere. We even saw two Banksy paintings, He is one of the worlds most famous street artists and no one really knows who he is. He uses stencils to do his pictures.
We also went into a funny little church called St John on the Wall which is built on the old Bristol wall. It was long and thin and very very old. We even got to go up into the bell tower. It used to be colourfully decorated but then King Henry VIII changed things and the church was whitewashed but the original paintings are underneath and we saw a little bit of them.
