After a chilly start and a hiccup with hooking up the trailer, we head north east.
For the first couple of hours it was just us on the straight, flat road until you reach the Nanutarra roadhouse which is a buzz with activity.
Then you slowly start to make your way up and over the ranges until you come to the highest town in WA, Tom Price.
While we set up, the girls checked out the park and Liam played soccer with some of the other camper boys.
Dodged a huge kangaroo just on dusk as we headed into town, before ending up at the very popular pub for a counter meal.
Next morning off to the land of the giants, the Rio Tinto mine tour. It is like a ghost town run by huge machinery with no people in sight. Actually very interesting and well worth the visit.
