What a HORRIBLE day! On the bike virtually all day in heavy, heavy rain. Only 66 miles but slow and water running right through us, Jake and all our stuff. We finally got to Braeside House B&B at 6pm having stopped for coffees and food along the way. Believe me riding a tandem with about 35kg's of dog and stuff on board in torrential rain, up and down and up and down and up and down isn't very nice at all, we were very cold all day.

That said, John and Eileen at the B&B were magic, plus they had a drying room, it was stuffed! They then even ran us into town to get some dinner, what lovely folk.

We both slept like logs.
