Yesterday we arrived on the Island of Lewis by Ferry-a day earlier than we had anticipated as we could not get on the ferry today. There has been a four day Celtic music festival here just finished on Saturday so there must have been lots of bookings today. We've been in Newtonmore for nearly a week travelling up from Ballachulish via Fort William last Saturday. We visited the Highland Museum in Fort William we spent 2 hours there just taking in the history. We collected our car in Glasgow and within a short time were on the A82 driving past Loch Lomond, through the magnificent Trossachs National Park past Ben Nevis and Glen Coe and on to our first rural stop, Ballaculish. We travelled by train to Glasgow and nearly missed it due to miscalculating the time it would take us to get by tube to Euston Station. We literally had to leap onto the train as it was leaving the station without collecting our tickets (tho we had prebooked them). This was very stressful!!
