Sawasdee ka, which is hello to all you "farang" (westerners). I guess you could say that I am learning a little Thai. I've adjusted a lot more to life here than the first 2 weeks on my own. I was having a hard time without Manuel around. Now I am actually getting sad about leaving. I only have one week left. Initially the decision to stay and study was hard. I even thought about coming home early. I am glad that I didn't. This experience has been great. I've thoroughly enjoyed school, the people that I've met, getting massages almost everyday and the food. I even feel as though I might be able to give a decent thai massage at home. I am already planning my next trip which I hope to take this summer. I want to go to Peru to volunteer at an orphanage. I think adjusting to life at home will be difficult now. I know that I will be making changes in order to simplify things. I am very thankful for the things that taking this trip has taught me about life and myself. Take care everyone!!
