Well I am officially on my own now. For the last week Manuel and I relaxed on the beaches of southern Thailand's Koh Lanta island. It was nice. We got a great room overlooking a beautiful beach. We went snorkeling to 4 different islands and swam through a cave to get to a beach in the very center of an island. It was remarkable, to say the least. But I suppose all things must come to an end. Manuel left yesterday morning for home and I came back north to Chiang Mai. He had to get back to work and I decided to spend the next 3 weeks here studying thai massage. It is quite different traveling alone. People certainly approach you differently. I am going to go to Burma or Laos this weekend to get my visa extended. That should be fun. I plan to make a trip of it. I come home on March 12 just 2 days before my 28th b-day, that's if I don't stay longer. I have to come home soon though or I won't have any money or business.....
