As per request, I will try and make this post more in depth.
Today I woke up around 8am and headed down to breakfast. I had a bowl of corn flake cereal. It was ok, they only had skim milk, instead of the 2% that I usually use. After breakfast I walked through Hyde Park on my way to the Paddington Train station to try and book reservations to go to Windsor and other european countries. However, I was not able to book the reservations there. Instead I went from Paddington to Kings Cross/St. Pancras and was able to make the reservations there. The St. Pancras station is very nice. It is brand new. The bathrooms are free, which is always good.
After I made the train reservations, I took the tube back to the hostel and took a shower. The hostel is nice, the bathroom and shower are in the room which is nice. The room has 9 beds, so it is not too bad. Then I decided to go to Harrods. The place is huge. I walked through the food halls, but it was very crowded. I instead ate at a McDonalds that was close by. They have a new "American" meal deal every week. This week it was a Texas burger. It had cheese bread and a burger with an interesting sauce. After lunch, I went to the home of Sherlock Holmes. It was very interesting, they have a museum and giftshop. It is very close to Madame Taussads (much smaller than I thought it would be). After seeing the museum I went to Leicester Square to try and get tickets to a show. However, all of the shows that I wanted to see were sold out or cost way to much. I found out that Wicked was playing at the Apollo Victoria theater, so I went to check it out. Little did I know that the Apollo Victoria was different than the Apollo, so I walked to the theater for nothing. Then I had to take the underground to the Victoria station to get to the Apollo Victoria. It ended up that the tickets were for the upper row and still expensive, so I didn't get any. Then it started to rain. So I decided to head back to the hostel. They were watching Tron Legacy when I got back so I sat and watched it. Then I went to Whole Foods for dinner. The complex is very large. It has 3 stories and food halls on the 3rd floor. I think I will go back there tomorrow for dinner. The food looked really good. I then headed for the hostel, where I am writing this.

mom I enjoyed this blog, lots more details. If you have a chance see a show! Have you tried using the student discount card? Does that work? Enjoy Windsor castle!
