Today I left London for Bruges. I took the Eurostar so the journey only took a couple hours. About 20min to cross the channel. I arrived in Brussels about 4pm and had to find the correct train to get to Bruges. This proved more difficult than I had thought. The signage did not have english on it. I was finally able to find an information desk and ask. And when I got to the platform there was a family from England and I asked them if the train was going to Bruges ...

Today I went to visit Windsor Castle. It was about a 45 min journey from London. I had to change trains once but it was worth it because you were able to get a great view of the castle as the train aproached Windsor. I used up the last day of my Britrail pass doing this. The castle was much larger than I thought it would be. You were able to explore most of the castle. I was able to see the parts that had been heavily damaged during firein 1992. Very interesting ...

I am writing this while on a train from Edinburgh to London Kings Cross. The countryside in the Uk is beautiful. The trains are really fast and I have not had to pay anything to reserve seats. The Britrail pass was well worth the money. Aparantely, the trains to London were all down yesterday because there was a train accident and the train took out the power lines that run above the train tracks. I haven't had time to update the blog in a little while. So I decided to give it go and try and remember what I have been doing. I been on numerous walking tours. On Monday I hung out with a guy from the hostel and we went on two tours. Both were nice.
