So after planning for a whole week, we decided to take the whole day for Central Park! Central park is so huge, a whole day to walk through it was probably not even going to be enough. However, we had loads of fun. The scenery is perfect, and we sat down a lot on the benches just to look around and enjoy the weather and the nature around is. If you stay on ground level, you don't even see that you're in New York. The sights of the buildings are covered with high trees and whatnot, you don't see the city anymore. And apart from the sound of choppers and sirens, the place is quite silent too. So when we saw a lot of squirls, wild turtles in the turtle pond, no strawberries in the strawberry fields, we decided to just lay down on a high point in the park and enjoy the sun.

For me that has been a wrong decision because I got more sunburned than I already was. After a while of laying there we decided to leave the park and take on yet another journey through the city, on yet another point that we haven't seen. We walked through central park west, where loads of celebrities are supposed to live in appartments according to my traveling books. We didn't see any though! When we passed another beauty salon, we decided to go in again. Netteh got her eyebrows done as I got my eyelashes dyed. So good to be in New York!

And yes we got tired at a point, after visiting the probably biggest Apple store in the world to buy my new ipod. We passed by a build-a-bear and we couldn't leave without a bear! So we are now the proud owners of two very cute bears <3
