Ughh....I hate papers!!!!!
Yes, we are down to crunch time now and I am not the happiest person in the world. I spent most of the day writing yesterday, but today just doesn't seem to be really happening for some reason. I think someone stole my brain. And it doesn't help that I will be leaving in a couple of days. I'm sad! Well, it's probably off to the Bod again tomorrow. I seem to be able to get more work done there than here. I would have been happy if there were simply no papers to write. I mean, I learned a lot. Why can't they just give me As for that?
For my Christian Tradition in Literature class I am writing a paper on Elizabeth Gaskell's North and South and one on the relationship between fiction and reality. However, the latter seems to be turning into a "yeah fiction" rant, which isn't exactly what it is supposed to be. For my Jane Austen class I am writing one long paper on sisterhood in Austen's novels. Maybe I'll bring in personal experience into this one. (I love you Kari!;))
On Thursday, for our final Jane Austen class, we all went for tea and scones to discuss the final novel, which was a nice change of pace. I'm sure it was the final straw for Shayne, the only guy in our class, though. He's put up with us all well, although I'm sure it wasn't the most comfortable thing to always have to give the "guy's perspective".
I will be so relieved when my papers are finished. They all have to be completed and handed in by 3 on Tuesday, so we have the rest of Tuesday and Wednesday free. I'm looking forward to being able to spend the last two days with all the people in our group. Hopefully we'll come up with some fun things to do together.
